Zoonomaly places players inside a zoo where reality has broken down and monstrous creatures now roam freely. Tasked with finding the cause behind the infestation, players must search for scattered key shards hidden within animal enclosures. The main goal is to collect all shards, assemble the master key, and unlock the force responsible for the strange events. Every enclosure holds a puzzle that must be solved to recover a shard, tying exploration and logic together as survival becomes increasingly difficult.
The zoo is open for free exploration, but danger lurks everywhere. Monsters of various forms patrol the grounds and cannot be defeated through direct confrontation. Players must avoid detection by staying alert and using their limited Bloom O’Bang device, which can briefly halt attackers and reveal hidden monster auras. Navigating the zoo’s winding paths, solving puzzles under pressure, and evading invisible threats demands careful planning and quick thinking, especially when no safe zones exist for long.
Zoonomaly combines eerie visuals with tense soundscapes to keep players on edge while they explore abandoned enclosures and silent pathways. Puzzles range from mechanical challenges to memory-based tasks, and solving them under the threat of monster attacks adds a layer of urgency to every decision. Each collected shard brings players closer to unlocking the truth, but also deeper into areas where the creatures grow stronger and the environment becomes more hostile.
