Mewegics is a tactical roguelike strategy game centered around breeding, managing, and sending cats on dangerous adventures. Players build teams of feline characters with different classes, abilities, and genetic traits, then guide them through turn-based battles on procedurally generated maps. The game combines long-term progression systems with tactical combat, creating a structure where decisions made outside battle are just as important as actions taken during fights.

Building a Feline Team

The game begins with a small group of cats that can be trained, equipped, and sent into combat. The story takes place in a strange location known as Boon County. Players work alongside an unusual scientist who encourages them to create stronger and more capable cats through selective breeding. While the narrative exists in the background, most progression comes from exploration, combat, and the long-term development of feline bloodlines rather than a heavily scripted campaign.
